World trade continued to stagnate through October

Today the Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis released their World Trade Monitor with data through October. World trade in merchandise continues to go nowhere. This is quite an unusual situation in the history of the series. Unfortunately, the closest parallel is to 2008.
