Japan manufacturing might be in declining trend

30 Jul 2012 by Jim Fickett.

Today the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in Japan reported industrial production figures through June. In May there was a significant decline, noticeably larger than most of the month-to-month noise changes, and in June this decline was not reversed. It is really too soon to call a new trend, but this looks as if it could be the end of the basically level trend that's held for a long time.
